Visit to Moody Gardens

Family Time! It's been years since we've been here. I would say about ten years or so... Long enough that my first daughter doesn't even remember going! So it was finally time to go again. Moody Gardens is always fun and this time was no different specially with two more little ones to enjoy the visit.

Moody Gardens has several attractions and theaters along with their three main pyramids. The Rainforest, the Aquarium and the Discovery pyramids all of which are filled with fun things for the kids to do.
My favorite part was there is the rainforest pyramid… it’s always the rainforest. My girl were looking forward to the butterfly garden but maybe it’s the time of the season but we didn’t see many. It didn’t matter, it’s the perfect time to go because soon enough it will be too hot to handle. The temperature inside was a whopping 103 and the humidity through the roof. Let’s just say my hair wasn’t too happy about being in there.

The girls got to see sharks and all kinds of other fish in the Aquarium pyramid, including penguins. They did not look too happy though. There’s nothing like being in captivity that will do that to you. They reminded us of Happy Feet when they show the penguins in captivity. Not a “happy” sight.

My second favorite part? Taking photos of my family of course. We got to make some great memories and that’s all that matters. If you never have, then you should definitely pay a visit to Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas!
