Year in Review 2014

It’s time to say goodbye to 2014.  You know me, I hate goodbyes and almost always end up crying but there is so much to be thankful for this year. More than sad, we are happy we had so much accomplished this year that we now look forward to even more special times.  Thank you God for everything you gave us this year!

January thru March:

My little girl turned two and Camila turned six, went on a family trip to visit family in Alabama and also were faced with a family loss that was devastating that led us to a family trip to Mexico.  My grandmother passed away and it has put a mark on all our lives, she is so very much missed and we are looking forward to her one year reunion soon.

My baby and I celebrated our 16th Anniversary, which is like a hundred years for some.  Although it feels like that sometimes, it has become a no biggie. We are blessed with our precious girls that we adore and for them we try our darnest to have a happy family.  It was also my mother’s birthday! She is my rock and strength and the one person I go to and I know truly cares for me.  There is no one in the world to me like her.  I love her and thank God for her life every single day.

April thru June:

My Sophie girl turns 12 and she is quickly becoming such an important part of my life.  I have also learned she is still a little girl no matter how much she tries, she has so much growing to do and taking this life one day at a time.  Her “Cinco de Mayo” party was awesome!

Father’s Day happened here too and we got to do everything daddy likes to do, from his favorite restaurant to getting love and massages all day.  LOL  We also got to have a party where we enjoyed each other’s company.  A trip to my hometown came soon after and that was a great way to begin our Summer! The ocean is where I long to be right about now.  This cold weather is getting to me already!

July thru September:
Back to School.  This is all my head comes to when I think of this time of my year. Ugh, I was not prepared specially after having such an epic Summer vacation!  Went to visit several states all the way from Texas to Montana and back to California!

October thru December:
And finally it brings me to just recently… Christmas time is upon us but only after enjoying a visit to my hometown and celebrating my dad’s 70th birthday!  This was wonderful time with all my sisters and brother together with him.  We also had a fun Halloween, another family camping weekend and finally a Super Moon!

This year has not been short of an exciting time!  I have to say it has been so wonderful to us and even got a brand new 2014 Hylander to keep enjoying the year for a while to come.  Feeling blessed and happy and joyful and amazingly in love with everything we experienced this year.  I have to say, we are a big spoiled now because we now want to get so much more accomplished this coming year.

Looking forward to another year filled with lots of happy memories!
Here’s to a GREAT 2015!!!!
