Winter Storms and Comfy Fires Oh My

Hello, there's like ice outside and it's everywhere.  Ice, in Texas! Yep, I am borderline tired of all this gloomy weather and last night's winter storm just became the icing on the cake.  I like cold, a little bit, I mean I'm from Texas and Winter comes and goes in a few weeks but I'm just tired of it now.
Ice and sleet and snow and ice and freezing rain and all that good dangerous stuff.  My plants can't take it anymore, or at least if I had any left that is.  Our last "freeze" caused many of my plants to die or parts of them froze off.  I love my plants, I water them all year and fertilize them and loved them and for what? This time I covered them with plastics but I don't even think this is enough but I really hope so!!! :(

Schools were closed today so that means a long weekend, I love that.  I didn't have to get up in the cold morning and by Monday, things should be back to normal... this means somewhere close to the 70s! Yes, that's gonna feel awesome.  So until we get there, I am going to try to enjoy it while it lasts, the warm comfy bed and the warm fires and all the hot chocolate I can drink.  I guess this won't be so bad after all.

Now to change the subject, for some weird Friday randomness, I just heard of people not shampooing their hair. Yeah, this is kinda weird, it's called the "No Poo movement" or something.  People don't shampoo their hair, instead they use all natural ingredients to wash their hair. They mix baking soda and vinegar or Aloe Vera and honey.  It's all natural and claim to work great.  I don't know if I want to try this but I think it's kinda interesting.  For now, I am sticking to my pantene. :)
