Family Summer Travels
We tried to hit the main attractions but mostly also wanted to rest and relax so the Island was the perfect place to do so. To me, nothing compares to the calming of the waves and the soothing of the sun. At the end of it all, you end up so relaxed and with an awesome tan to boot... how can you go wrong with this. It's been said many times before that I plan to retire at a beach house somewhere. That's after winning the lottery of course!
So my girls are amazing, always ready to try new things and just have fun. The summer is their time to finally get a break from all that school work and just be kids. I truly enjoy Summer break! Yes, I am one of those mother's that do. I get this from my mother who many times I heard her say the same thing only to be given ugly looks from the other mothers. Those not so cool, good mothers, as I like to call them. :P
My new awesome lens was such a treat and was so excited to try it out, it made all the cages just disappear. I was able to get some pretty nice close ups from these beautiful colorful animals.
DON'T FEED THE SEAGULLS! But we always do, shhh. And they love Doritos by the way or anything else you got. Then again, how can you not help feeding them, they actually take them from your hands, literally. They are the cutest things!
The whole week was awesome! It was well worth waiting for and can't wait to do it again. Spending time with my family is always such a treat and living far from them is always hard on me. I stayed at home with my parents a lot too as these moments are precious and enjoy them so much when I can. I can't wait to visit them again.
And now the second part of our Summer's Vacations begins, we have a B&B at Blisswood Ranch reservation and can't wait to spend the rest of the week there.
Happy Travels! :)
