How was it, it was great! After so much planning and shopping and thinking and wrapping, it all ended the way I always thought it would... in a heartbeat. I know special events go by so fast so I braced myself for this enjoying every day before Christmas day. My girls were blessed this holiday and I couldn't have asked for more.
What can I say, it's my favorite morning of the year and I look forward to it with great anticipation... the gift openings, the smiles, the surprises, the family happy together. Nothing comes near as great as this. After all the excitements and a giant breakfast, it was time to wind down and rest. This is where things got a bit, how can I say it, boring but then again, it was time to reflect the true meaning of Christmas and begin the process of being grateful to Jesus for everything he's done for us. Just to have made it this far into the year, is the biggest blessing we could've asked for and the greatest gift we all received. Nothing compares to the joy of waking up and breathing the air of life for one more day and be surrounded by the wonderful warmth of family love. I was so happy. In my heart, so much to be exited about and thankful for.
