As he grew up he followed us everywhere and of course ate every flower I ever had! If you ever saw a crazy lady chasing a goat screaming “stay away from my roses!” … yeah, that was me. I knew then he would be our first and last goat I would ever care to have.
This afternoon we are taking her out to eat at her favorite place to celebrate her first day of school. I miss my babygirl already and can't wait to see her! My little baby is growing up so fast and now she is my 3rd grade girl! I love my Sophie so much and am so very proud of her for always doing her very best.
While we visited our family in Alabama we got to celebrate Larry’s birthday and we had a wonderful time! While I took many photos that day to celebrate Larry’s (again) 29th birthday, these were some of my favorite of our family and the great time we had.
A bit late but I am so behind on my blogging so here it finally is… our Family Fourth of July! =) I don’t want to leave this out because it was a wonderful fun time with the family. I know America’s Independence day has nothing to do with Texas but we Texans like to think it does… so we celebrated it at the Birthplace of Texas State Park and it’s the best event of the year! There is music, fun, lots of amazing food and a great opportunity to take lots of fun photos!
The second half of my month long vacations was spent in my hubby’s hometown in Alabama where everyone lives and breathes country. It had been a while since I’ve seen my family there and it was good to see everyone. We were hoping for a horse show or two but weren’t lucky to be there at the right time. I got plenty of Southern country food and lots of seafood, though! Nothing wrong with that. =)
Aww, my Summer Vacations were so much fun! It pains me to say I will miss them so much but after a month of being away I was glad to settle back in.
Part one of my vacations took place in my home town and the other half was in Alabama visiting my other family. I will post some photos I took there next.
