World Cup: The Knockout Stage!

Today marks the first day of the knockout stage and my nerves can barely take it anymore… but I wouldn’t have it any other way!!!! For those of you whose team has made it this far Congrats and may the best teams move on to the Quarter-Finals! The great thing is you can always choose a favorite to win in every single game.

As my undying love for All Things Cute And Tiny is an obvious one… I have decided to make it a habit to post my little creates more often. I mean, who doesn’t want to get a healthy dose of cuteness once in a while… I know I do!

World Cup Day One: Group A Ties

 
The much anticipated opening game has finally happened and it was everything I could’ve asked for…. with one exception. A win for Mexico would have been the best in the world but a tie will be just fine for now.  Mexico and South Africa tied the game 1 to 1 giving each team one point. Later in the day for the second game, Uruguay and France also tied with a score of 0 to 0 also giving each one point.  At the end of the day all this is great news for all the teams because neither is ahead of each other.

Let The Games Begin! FIFA World Cup 2010

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about the World Cup finally starting tomorrow!  I’ve been waiting for this day for four years and it’s finally here. Ahhhhh

I’m not going to say I follow every soccer match out there… in fact I hardly ever watch sports of any kind but the World Cup, this is my baby. The one time where the world unites for the very same reason, the love of football, is unlike anything else out there. I’m afraid I’m not going to get any sleep tonight just thinking about it.

I Love My hTc EVO 4G!

All I can say this baby is the biggest and baddest phone I’ve ever played with and I’m in love. Yes, I even slept with it the first few nights. Being this is my first Android phone I wasn’t sure what to expect so I was a bit nervous. I had seen other Android phones in the market but none ever interested me until I saw Sprint was putting out the first 4G phone ever and I began to drool… in anticipation of course.

With my contract expired and not enough sleep, I got in line as early as I could at the Sprint store on June 4th… about 15 minutes before they opened.  Hey, I wasn’t that desperate! I just want to mention I love Sprint stores when they release a new phone, it’s like a party in there… drinks, snacks, music and everybody excited about their new phone. Fun.

My Birthday

My birthday post only two weeks late but I still wanted to mention what a wonderful time I had. Being that I plan on turning this blog into a book soon this is one entry I could not leave out for sure. =)

My day was extremely relaxing… hardly does my B’day ever go as planned and that’s why I didn’t make any. Woke up and had a delicious lunch at Red Lobster… it’s kind of something we do on every birthday. The Ultimate Feast is what I usually eat and I’m not ashamed to mention I loved all 5k calories and my cake was heavenly.
