To have a picture taken of me with one of my girls is a rarity and with both of them almost never mainly because no one cares to take them or because I hog the camera too much. Either way, this day was a lucky day for me because my babygirl Sophie managed to take a couple of shots that didn’t include only the ground… our faces were actually in them!

It’s A Plane!

Taking our girls out for some fun has turned a bit difficult when you have done everything you possibly can. Sometimes you want to try something different and this was one of those days.

Gary had the idea of taking the girls out to see the planes land at the airport and they actually had more fun that I thought they would.  There’s a little area at the airport where the planes landing go right over you so it was fun when I would hear my little one say “mo’ plane!” when another plane was coming near.

It’s not always when I get to see planes so near and using my long lens I was even able to even see the pilot!… that was fun. =)

C.A.T: My Treehouse Squirrels

I want to tell you the story of our pet squirrels. A few years ago we raised a couple of tiny baby squirrels who were left by their mama on a friend’s attic. A family member had given us a GIANT bag of pecans so this was of course their perfect meal.  Raising them wasn’t easy… they are SOOO messy so cleaning their room was a daily thing. We named them Sandy and Hemi but was very hard to tell them apart but we tried. 

PillowPets -- Mom Review

My girls each got a Pillow Pet just a few days ago and I have to say I already like them... alot! When we travel or have a sleep over in our tree house they always make sure to take them with them.

They have already become one of their favorite toys. Camila got the LadyBug Pillow Pet and Sophia got the Leopard. Both are adorable and every night they have to make sure they use their pillow pet... I don't think they will ever use a boring pillow again. 

My Mother's Day

My girls and husband made my Mother's Day the happiest day I could ever ask for.  Every year I ask for the same thing... to relax and just be spoiled all day long.  Selfishly I think I should get this every day but I realize it's kind of a big deal so once a year... I'll take it.

Meet Babyboy

We have fallen in love with our third foal, Babyboy. For some reason I happen to posses this “psychic” ability and I predicted Babygirl was going to have a boy… and she did! =) Man, why didn’t I bet money?

We are so proud of Babygirl for having such an Absolutely GEORGEOUS foal! He is so perfect in every way. Babygirl is a protective and caring mom and is teaching Babyboy to trust us as well. This is her very fist foal and this, well, was her first Mother’s Day, too. =) Yeah, I like to think they celebrate holidays like we do. Happy first Mother’s Day Babygirl and Cutterlina and Cowgirl! =)

Sophia’s 8th Birthday

Sophia had such a fun day on her Birthday.  First I spoiled her with a No School Day as a treat for hardly ever being absent and terrific grades. I just thought I’d brag a little bit here. =)
She was under the impression that she was not getting anything of what she asked for… her computer, clothes and of course, her Birthday cake.  I, being the brilliant sneak that I am… somehow that didn’t sound as a compliment… managed to hide everything from her. It almost broke my heart when I would see her sad face every time she would ask and I would say “maybe later” and my wonderful babygirl would say “it’s ok mom, at least we’ll have fun that day” Awww!

I Think He Knows He’s Loved

From the very first day he joined our family he has been a very special pet.  Jake joined us as a six year old and is now into his adult years and has always been the sweetest dog. My girls love him and he is always there for them and us in anyway he can.  He loves to play fetch with my girls and give sweet kisses and getting his belly rubbed.

Meet Especial … My Sweet Filly

I am in love… with my filly Especial born April 27, 2010. Now I have three horses whom I love so much. Shiloh was my first horse, Cutterlina and now her first filly, Especial. She gets her name from her mama’s registered name and it couldn’t be more fitting.

This year we are full of new life in our ranch with two foals born already and one more on the way from Babygirl. Gary wants a filly so bad but if not she will be having a Babyboy and this will also be his name. ;)
