My Day in Photos... Family Day

We had a great fun day playing with the animals and momy photographing everything I could. I was very happy with the outcome and had so many to choose from. My favorite would have to be Mila and her sweet innocent face... it just stole my heart. I had a wonderful day with my girls and Gary and can't wait for the next. =)

Happy Birthday Mia! =)

My kitty Mia turns one year old today!... Yay, Mia! The sweetest kitty cat ever. We were stopped at a Target parking lot by a couple of sweet girls asking us if we wanted a free kitten.  As soon as I saw her I knew she was the one for us... with her pretty gray fur and big green eyes. She was the sweetest kitten ever and has been ever since.  She plays with my girls by chasing them around and loves to play hide-n-seek. =) She's the fourth girl in the house!  We've got fun planned for her today. =)

Camila Lucia Frith

Six years later I was became the luckiest mom in the world being blessed with my second little lightbug. From the moment she was in my arms I knew she had come into this world to be someone extraordinary. She laughs and enjoys life like no other and always brightens my every day with her "halo!" and laughter and hilarious dancing. =) She may not speak yet but her expressions tell me everything I need to know... she's the light of my life.

Sophia Loren Frith

My babygirl Sophia was my biggest dream come true. She came into my life to make me the happiest woman in the world and has always been the best daughter I could've ever asked for... carying, humble, smart, crafty, loving and now the best big sister Camila could ever had. "Titer" is what Camila calls her and they are wonderful sisters... she's her hero! =) Everything she does is beautiful and always makes me the proudest mom in the world.

... and I love my Kitties! =)

So my "wild" kitties are finally warming up to me... some.  I can't say they are purring down my leg but they are least don't dash a million miles a minute when they see me coming.  One even came up to me and I petted him! lol My gosh, I can't believe I'm the one 'begging' them to pet them.  They are just spoiled kitties.

I Love My Chickens! =)

Anyone that knows me knows I find chickens adorable! I have my kitchen decorated with roosters. I can just hold them and squeeze them... which I often do.  They are so tame they trust me with their lives.  I had a crowd of them last year and a vicious dog came and killed them all, I was devastated.  I grew up with chickens and well I am now able to play with my feathery friends again. I love that my girls get to live with nature just like I did, it's a gift that never leaves you.

Little Pieces of Me

My little pieces of me... I was just thinking about the miracle of how I divided myself into these two little girls... they are each a small piece of me and at the same time they both complete me whole. =)

My Day In Photos: Mother's Day

My mother's day Collage has my favorite photos I took on what ended up being a very relaxing and fun day for me. I got to do what I enjoy most and that's take great photos of my girls and my animals. The grass was green and the weather beautiful just right for a good tan. My girls played and I laughed... my day ended with a beautiful sunset, what more could I have asked for?  I love reliving my memories and with my photos is one good way of doing it. =)

My Baby's First Ocean Visit

Camila's First Visit to the Ocean was amazing! ... She was so exited to see the biggest tub she had ever seen she ran straight to it.  The hard part was getting her out of it, she would throw a fit and scream... a very memorable time indeed.  I can't wait to take my girls there again. =)

4th of July Collage...

*Click on Photo to make larger*
Going through my photos I realized I didn't have a collage for 4th of July.. =) So here they are, my favorite photos of the day. July 4th was not what I expected since Camila hurt her eye with a water bottle. We did get to see some great fireworks after thinking we might not get any due to the extreme drought we were in. It ended up being a great day. =)

World Cup 2010... 299 Days To Go!

So the game will be amazing... it's actually something I look forward to for four years since this is how long it is between the games. It's a very long time to wait but when it's here it is all worth it. =)

South Africa 2010 is still 299 days away but the elimination games are already going strong... who will qualify is also pretty exiting. I've got several teams I go for... Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, USA, Italy, Spain, France and so on. For those that keep going it's a party and for those eliminated, it's a tear fest. But for a true fan, the anxiety, excitement, stress and joy, it's all worth it. It's the one time to get together, celebrate and just have a Great time with your buddies... even if you're not for the same team. =)

... And even though 2010 is still not here, we can only look forward to the next exiting World Cup... and winner is? BRAZIL! Yeah, I'm getting my piggy bank ready cause I want to be there! =) Brazil 2014!

Joseph Blatter announcing 2014
World Cup will be held in Brazil
between June and July 2014.

Houston Museum Collage

Had a great time... some of the photos were a challenge specially the jewels and stones... their brilliance made it almost impossible to capture all their beauty. =) My girls discovered beautiful sights they've never seen before. Saw the Ganghis Khan exhibition but our favorite part was the stones and jewels... oh such beauty. Great Times and Memories! =)

My Little Angel

Camila was not allowed up the stairs of her grand daddy so she sat here gazing up in wonder of all the magical possibilities that could be just above her head.

She sat there restless pointing and staring almost begging me to take her up the stairs. This stare of wonder soon ended when I walked her up the stairs... but I'll never forget the first this stare that stole my heart.

She had so much fun playing on these stairs at some point sneaking all on her own when I wasn't watching. Why do kids love playing on stairs?... I don't know, I just remember loving playing on them... when you are a kid I guess stairs just seem like a stairway to a magical. =)

Camila Plays With Blocks

It seems to be her favorite thing to do lately... playing with blocks! She is developing in every way my little princess... she's growing up so fast! She loves to feel proud of herself and building with blocks gives her a sense of accomplishment that she craves right now. She loves to clap when she adds another piece and of course expects us all to do the same... hey, only she can build it this tall. =) Yay! Little steps babygirl but this is only the start of a journey of amazing and wonderful accomplishments ahead of you.

Love You Mami. =)

The Beginning of a Life Friendship

These girls became such great friends in a short period of time. Sweet as can be and joined by their mutual love for horses they soon discovered they had so much in common. Their great teacher, their aunt Susan, taught them to be brave and independent in their pursue to being great horse riders. =)

My daughter Sophia was thrilled to know someone so similar to her. Tyler showed great bravery and mastery in her barrel racing at such young age becoming an inspiration to Sophie. They ran and played and even gossiped just like good friends do. Even though they are from two different states they will continue to grow a relationship as they grow older for the rest of their lives.

Larry's Cutest Baby Skunk!

Aww, how adorable is this baby skunk? The mama skunk and this cutie visit Thelma and Larry's yard once in a while and the day we visited they happened to show up! Gary screamed for me to go see it so I ran to see... He had sprayed a little just to warn us to stay away but did I? Oh no, I couldn't... I had to get a closer peek. I've never seen a skunk this close up and I couldn't lose my chance so I grabbed my large zoom lens and dumb or brave off I went...

He was scared the poor thing... his mom had just ran away scared but soon she would return for him and raise him to be a great lil' stinker!

Un-scent him and keep him for a pet? Yeah, granddaddy Larry suggested Gary should keep it but wasn't gonna happen! haha I've heard they make "great" pets... I've seen videos of them playing like kitties so I believe it. Not this one though, he was wild and just wanted to be left alone so his mommy would come back for him... and after taking these daring shots I did. I can't help but be amazing by nature! >> Thanks Larry and Thelma for the chance to meet this little guy! =)

My Wild Kitties

My little wild kitties! =) They are so cute but oh so hard to get to. =) They avoid me but soon they will begin to "trust" me & love me, after all I am the one who feeds them. I am not the enemy here, haha, I love kitties but it's gonna take a while to 'earn' their trust... something I am willing to keep trying at. For now, they are just cute to look at from far away.

How many cats do I have? The answer would be 18 cats and kittens! ... all so adorable and lovable (except some kittens totally avoid me!). Most don't even have names which is so unlike me being that even my two turkeys have names, Thanks and Giving. =D I name every animals I have, it's something I do. The first one to think of a good name gets it. Gary, my girls and I love animals! They are our escape, in the afternoon we just sit and watch them for hours. =)
